City Shul offers adult learning opportunities for all levels, from a Basic Judaism class to advanced studies. Shabbat evenings and mornings include Torah study. We also have adult programming that stimulates intellectually and builds social connections. and We encourage your ideas for adult learning and programming. Intro to Jewish History Part I: More than Names and Dates! From ancient Semites to the Destruction of the Second Temple, we will explore how we became the Jewish people in the shadows of Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Rome. Men’s Lunchtime Chavurah (Friendship Group)

Meeting once a month, times and places to be determined, the goal of the group is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for open discussion as well as foster new friendships among men who are City Shul members. Conversations will range from current events to life issues, including lots of thought and lots of laughter. Women's Chavurah

A once a month Friday night Shabbat dinner in member's homes for City Shul women to foster new friendshipsin a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and discuss issues of special relevance and interest to women. Always accepting new participants! Contact Rivka.
