Is there an indoor component?
There is no indoor component. Participants will be able to use the washroom inside the Forest School (375 Colborne Lodge Drive) before and after the program.
Is this a paved walkway or a trail? Is it appropriate for people with limited mobility (uneven ground, stroller accessible?)
The walk may be on variety of terrains, including paved, unpaved, uneven, and hilly terrain.
Please be aware that in the winter, most paved paths are not maintained and can be snowy and icy. The location we have chosen for this event makes every effort to plan safe walks in winter weather, including planning routes to avoid extremely icy areas, deep snow, and fitting walkers with ice cleats or snowshoes.
When babies are old enough to be in a carrier, we recommend carriers over strollers for our nature walks.
