Shul Location, Directions & Parking 

City Shul's new home, St. George's is located at 30 Stephanie Street, one way street east from Beverly Street between Queen St and Dundas St. We suggest using the underground parking lot accessed from McCaul St. in Village by the Grange, across the street from OCAD, or there is a Green P on Beverly and McCaul Streets. Please click here for a quick video on driving to Shul and parking. PLEASE NOTE: You cannot park in the back of St. Georges. If you are taking public transit; by subway: the nearest subway station is Osgoode on the Yonge/University line. Walk west on Queen and make a right on John Street. Dundas streetcar: exit at Beverly and walk south, turning left into the park and follow the path south toward the bell tower. Queen streetcar: exit at John and walk north one block.

COVID Protocols

1. All attendees must pre-register for services by the Wednesday before the service, 5 PM. Our capacity for all services is now 130. Unfortunately we cannot take a waitlist and we cannot take last-minute registrations. We will only admit those who are pre-registered.

2. All attendees age 18 and over are required to have THREE COVID vaccine doses. For those having just turned 18, we will require the third dose to be completed within four (4) weeks.

3. All attendees age 5-17 are required to have TWO COVID vaccine doses.  Those having turned 5 recently may be in the process of getting their doses according to the provincial guidelines on timing.

4. All attendees age 5 and over must wear an N95, KN95, or KF94 mask at all times. Those age 2-5 must wear whatever well-fitting mask they can comfortably wear for the entire service. The Rabbi or the b’mitzvah may remove their mask while delivering a d’var torah only, to improve audibility, otherwise all participants on the bima will remain masked while speaking or singing. 5. At the end of the service during the congregational blessing, all attendees will be allowed to lower their mask briefly to consume grape juice and challah. Those who wish may take their grape juice and challah outside. This will be explained from the bima during the service. Candy thrown at the b’mitzvah will be collected by ushers and distributed to children during the kiddush.

6. Children under 5 will be admitted to all summer services. Children must stay with an adult throughout the service, the Prayground will not be available and there will be no children’s programming.

7. Kiddush after services will be provided in the form of individual prepackaged servings. This can be consumed either outside in the courtyard or within our ‘Kiddush Room’. Capacity in this indoor space will be capped at 40. Both sets of French doors will be kept open at all times. Congregants must remain masked in this room except when seated and eating. No stand-up eating will be allowed in this room, and no gathering in groups unmasked. Once you are finished eating, or if you move to another room, you must again mask. Servers will also be masked.

8. Those who wish to eat outside will have access to the courtyard without going through the Kiddush Room by exiting the building through the front door and turning right, through the gate into the courtyard.
