Come learn how to chant with Hazzanit Tara Abrams
Tara Abrams will be teaching Torah Cantillation Wednesday evenings in July & August. Classes will be in-person, in the Upper Beaches area, and will not be recorded.
This class is open to all City Shul Members.
Class Details:
Dates: Wednesday evenings - July 5, 12, 19, 26 - August 2, 9, 16, 23
Time: 7:30 to 8:45 pm
Cost: $180 for the 8-week class
Location: We will be meeting in a private home in the Upper Beaches area, which is accessible by car, GO, and TTC. The exact location will be sent out to all registrants a few days before the class.
The class will not be recorded. 1 or 2 classes may move to Zoom.
Required:
1. Siddur level Hebrew reading/decoding ability (letters & amp; vowels)
2. Purchase of "The Art of Cantillation" from Amazon (Approx $45 Cdn, including shipping)- to view/purchase this book, click HERE
3. A commitment to do some follow-up work at home
4. A desire to have fun!
