Families at the J: Chanukah Celebration - Sunday, December 7, 10 AM to 2 PM, Miles Nadal JCC, 750 Spadina Avenue
Celebrate the Festival of Lights at the annual Families at the J: Chanukah Celebration! This is a warm community gathering filled with fun for children of all ages - featuring live performances, crafts, games, face painting, a photo booth, and much more!
Advanced registration is required this year. $10 per person, which includes 5 food/activity tickets. Ages 0–2 FREE.

Ignite - Tikkun Leil Chanukah - Thursday, Dec 18, 6:30 to 11:30 PM - Holy Blossom Temple, 1950 Bathurst Street
This event opens with an intergenerational, songful candle lighting and Horah, then break into a choose-your-own-adventure of arts-based workshops, performances and Jewish study sessions. Enjoy a big, bold concert inspired by the season’s themes, curated by the Ashkenaz Festival. Come early or late, stay a little or stay the whole time!
The Family/Kid’s Track admission provides access to the inter-generational communal candle-lighting at 6:30 PM and to a shorter program for families with kids ages 5 to 12, with a light kosher dinner included.
Kosher food will be available for purchase. The registration form will be available shortly.
Jewish Family & Child Services
JF&CS groups and workshops explore many topics including life skills, marriage preparation, parenting, bereavement, relationships, employment, separation, and divorce.
They attempt to help families and individuals resolve problems in daily life situations before they escalate to a crisis level.
All programs are conducted by professional facilitators.
