What is a "Give-and-Take?"
GIVE - Do you have extra Judaica you’d like to give a new Jewish home? If you have something to donate in good condition, please bring your donation to one of the dates listed below.
TAKE - Do you need Judaica? Perhaps you don't have a challah cover, a Chanukiah, a Pesach plate, a kiddush cup, or something else?
Note: Please do not bring broken or rusted items, stained, ripped, or old tallitot/tallis bags, old tefillin/tefillin bags, or any books, prayer books, or chumashim of any kind. Ritual objects in useable condition only!
Where and when can people bring items?
Rosh Hashanah Day 1 - Thursday, October 3 - Met U
Kol Nidre - Friday, October 11 - Met U
Yom Kippur - Saturday, October 12 - Met U
Items will be on a table for your donation.
Where and when can people pick up Judaica for their home?
Those who would like to acquire any donated object - please feel free to take from this donation tablel
Any objects not taken by City Shul congregants on Oct. 12 will be donated to a local Jewish charity in Toronto, to be given to those less fortunate.
Please - no donations after Oct. 12.
