Adult Torah Cantillation Class 2025

Learn the basics of Torah cantillation and/or brush up on your previous chanting skills?

What:                    Join Hazzanit Tara Abrams for an Adult Torah Cantillation Class

Who:                     Open to City Shul Members AND others in the community (tell your friends!)

When:                   8 one-hour classes, dates/times TBD by the participants - weekday evenings

Cost:                     $220

Location:              Hazzanit Abrams' home in the Upper Beaches (Main & Gerrard), accessible by GO, TTC and car

Required:

1.                            Siddur level Hebrew reading/decoding ability (consonants and vowels)

2.                            Possession of "The Art of Cantillation" (Approx $45) prior to the first class. To purchase the book, click HERE

3.                            The commitment to do some weekly follow-up work at home

4.                            A desire to have fun!
