Teen Group
Together we will participate in fun and meaningful activities throughout the year.
You can join just the programs or also be a part of the leadership team who plans the programs.
First events to join include:
- Collect food for the Daily Bread Food Bank at shul on Yom Kippur, Sunday, September 24th 6pm and Monday September 25 at 9:30am. Volunteer hours provided. Register HERE
- “Escape the Sukkah” with us on Sunday, October 1 from 2-4pm. It will be a fun afternoon completing an escape room together. Register HERE
We have also been exploring other activities that offer opportunities for fun, friendship, leadership and Gimilut Chassadim (acts of love and kindness).

City Shul Food Drive
Our Teen Group's First Venture will be collecting food and full-sized toiletries during the High Holidays for the Daily Bread Food Bank. Please help make 2023 our biggest donation to fight hunger!
What items are needed?
Full-size toiletries and healthy, non-perishable, non-expired sealed food. The “Most needed items” are: Canned fish (tuna, salmon, sardines), canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned tomatoes, oatmeal, and nut butters (peanut, almond).
Where can people bring items?
Bring items to Kol Nidre or Yom Kippur daytime services, Sunday or Monday, September 24th, 25th, at Metropolitan United, 56 Queen Street East
Teen Engagement
Do you need high school volunteer hours? Volunteer with us! We need volunteers for the Ten Days of Awesome events, as well as for the City Shul School on Wednesday afternoons. If you are interested in volunteering, or want to be involved in planning programs for other teens, please contact Lori at learning@cityshul.com.
