The Nova Music Festival Exhibition - City Shul Time - Sunday, June 8, 12 noon - 2:30 PM, 1381 Castlefield Avenue

E.

Background information on the event

The Nova Musica Festival Exhibition is an in-depth remembrance of the brutal massacre at the Nova Music Festival on October 7th, 2023. The installation sets out to re-create a festival dedicated to peace and love that was savagely cut short by a terrorist attack on that fateful day. The attack at the Nova Music Festival was the largest massacre in music history.

This groundbreaking installation is presented as a way to empower visitors to responsibly explore and bear witness to the tragic events of October 7th and its aftermath.

The exhibit will be in Toronto for six weeks from April 23 through June 8. It is interactive, experiential, immersive, and educational. Visitors will embark on a full sensory journey through the timeline of the Nova Music Festival, reliving the harrowing events of that fateful day. Moving through the re-created festival grounds with real artifacts and evidence on display, attendees will witness first-hand footage from the attack and hear powerful testimonies from festival survivors and bereaved family members who will be onsite daily at the exhibit.

Since its opening in Tel Aviv in 2024 and runs in New York, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires and Miami, the exhibit has attracted over 300,000 visitors. Now the exhibit will give Canadians the opportunity to reflect on the horrors of that day.

The proceeds from the exhibit will be used to commemorate the victims, rehabilitate the survivors of the festival, support the Tribe of Nova community, promote education and call for the return of the hostages. You may make additional donations HERE - https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/donation-form/nova-exhibition.

Where and when will Rabbi Gottlieb hold the talk back session?

The event organizers cannot offer us a private room, as the event is open to the public, and they have reserved spaces for private bookings - ours is a public booking. They have assured us that there will be space for us to meet - but at this time, we don't know if this is indoors or outdoors, or if there is seating, or standing room only.

We are estimating that it will take 60 to 90 minutes to walk through the exhibit, so we plan on meeting at 1:30 PM.
